2. What we offer
We offer online courses and standalone modules around happiness, recovery, the body, and consciousness. At present the course The Frequency of Happiness is available (27 lessons in eight modules, €355). Additional modules will be announced later.
All prices stated are in euros and include VAT, where VAT applies. No hidden costs.
3. Enrollment and payment
You enter into an agreement with us by enrolling and completing payment. Payments are processed through our payment provider Mollie (including iDEAL and credit card). Immediately after a successful payment you receive a personal access link by email. No account or password is required.
If online payment should unexpectedly fail, we may by arrangement offer payment by bank transfer; access then follows within 24 hours of receipt of payment.
4. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Our courses consist of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. In principle, as a consumer you have a 14-day cooling-off period (art. 6:230o BW (Dutch Civil Code)).
Immediate access and waiver of the right of withdrawal. Because you receive full access immediately after payment, we ask you at checkout to confirm expressly that you (a) want delivery to begin at once and (b) agree that you lose your right of withdrawal once access has been granted (art. 6:230p sub d BW (Dutch Civil Code)). After that confirmation and the granting of access, a refund is therefore no longer possible.
If you have not yet received access (for example with payment by bank transfer and you withdraw before access is granted), you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days.
Online withdrawal. Where your right of withdrawal still applies, you can exercise it simply online via our page Withdraw from contract here. You enter your name, email address, and order reference (format TIJ-XXXXXX, as in your confirmation email), check your details, and confirm the withdrawal in a second step. You receive an immediate confirmation email with the contents of your withdrawal.
Something wrong, or something not working technically? Get in touch — we will sort it out. These terms do not affect your statutory rights in the event of a defective product.
5. Your responsibility
Our courses are aimed at growth and self-insight and may affect you. You yourself are responsible for:
- Applying what you learn judiciously and at your own pace
- Seeking appropriate professional care (general practitioner, psychologist, or therapist) when needed — the course is a complement to that, not a replacement
- Treating your access link as confidential and for personal use only
6. Our responsibility and liability
We take responsibility for:
- The content quality of what we offer
- The security of the digital infrastructure
- Correct and timely delivery of access
Limitation of liability: Luminous does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic care. We are not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, or damage arising from decisions you yourself make based on what you encounter in the course. In the event of direct damage caused by our error, our liability is limited to a maximum of the amount you paid for the course concerned.
7. Use and revocation
We reserve the right to terminate access without refund in the event of demonstrable misuse, such as sharing or reselling your personal access link to third parties.
8. Intellectual property
All materials (texts, images, diagrams, worksheets, and any audio) remain the property of Luminous. You may use and keep them personally, but not redistribute, reproduce, or reuse them commercially without written permission.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If we cannot resolve a matter together, you may submit your dispute to the competent Dutch court. You may also report a dispute via the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
10. Contact
Questions or complaints? info@lu-minous.app or via the contact page.
We aim to resolve problems on a human level before legal channels are used. Get in touch first if something is going on — we are open to conversation.
